Home Made Birthday Cards

I always make the cards I give to my parents, and when time allows I try to do the same for the rest of my family. It's an unbreakable rule with Mum and Dad, and has been for as long as I've been giving cards!

My Great Aunt (the same one I made the Cameo Brooch for) and my Grandpa both have birthdays in March, Grandpa's is actually on St Patrick's Day! So, I made them a card each.

Hmm. OK, so I'm a bit hit and miss with cards! You'd think with all these years of experience I'd be better at it!! I like the one for my Aunt, and I'm happy that the one for Grandpa is made well (he does like gardening you see!) - but it's more suited to a 5 year old!!

We posted my Aunt's card so it will arrive in time, then went shopping for some more manly scrapbook papers. This is the new and much improved card for Grandpa:

Infinitely manlier! I'm much happier with this ;)

Now just to think of what to write inside..!
