What Do YOU Think?

Hello lovely people!

I need to get more organised over here, in part so I don't let blogging take of my life entirely ;) So I thought I should set up a schedule for H&H. I'm thinking something like this:

Sunday - Scrap Box Sunday
(quick & easy project + link party)

Tuesday - Tutorial Tuesday
(a new project each week)

Friday - Favourite Things Friday
(this would sometimes feature blogs, sometimes MadeIt or Etsy stores, or other random crafty things)

The other days would either be post-free, guest posts or short, random things like updates on the shop or showing off something I made, but without a tutorial. Of course, sometimes I will scrap the weekly schedule and do "A Week Of ...." to mix it up :)

Is there any other weekly feature you'd particularly like to see?
What do you think about these ones?

I could also do HTML tips if anyone is interested? I'm relatively new to Blogger, but I'm not new to building websites - I even tutor Web-based Systems at my university so I'm pretty nifty at HTML and CSS. Even if I don't do a regular feature, shoot me an email - I'm always happy to answer questions about this!

So pretty please, let me know what you think!

(P.S. I'm getting closer and closer to 100 followers - guess what that means? A giveaway!!)

Hey, Rissa!
I like the idea, it keeps you flexible, and I have found out the hard way that having a craft blog requires flexibility!
I'm taking a web design course, and we are using NVU free software, along with top style lite for css. Our teacher says you don't need to know html to do web design, but that doesn't sound right to me? What do u think?

Well, you *can* do it without knowing HTML because there's software out there to do that side of things, but it's going to be better for you if you do. It's kind of like an architect who understands the practical side of building a house vs. one that doesn't - they can both do their jobs, but the one with more knowledge is clearly going to do a better job!

In my experience, many programs that build HTML for you add a TONNE of unnecessary code, slowing things down and making it more complicated than it needs to be. Also, sometimes the program won't do things exactly the way you want - knowing what to manually change in the HTML makes fixing those things easy instead of confusing!

Haha, you can tell that's one of my "soapbox" issues can't you? Sorry about rambling!! Thanks for your input! :D

Love your blog and I think the HTML tip would be really great as I don't even really know what it means. I'm really new to blogging and as you can tell not computer savvy at all!!! I'm participating in the “Week-End Blog Hop” and I’m now follower #81 of your great site. Hope you have a chance to check out my blog, have a look around and maybe follow me back!!

Thanks for the comment!

What would you guys think about a "Mod My Blog Monday" feature? Perhaps just fortnightly to start with? Happy to do it weekly if people have specific questions though!
